Well apparently the owner of TeenMaidens.NET doesn't read GFY...

But for anyone who was wondering, here's why I wanted to know if anyone knew who he / she was...

This morning, I saw a TGP Gallery posted on a popular teen TGP, so what you ask?

Well, the content on the gallery was mine, but the gallery was not. He was using exclusive content that he HAD to have stolen from one of my companies paysites, or AVS sites, as the content has NEVER been liscenced to anyone else, and those are the only places that the content has ever been used. I assume he just downloaded then cropped the images to remove the URL that was on them, and then even went so far as to 'cut out' the girl from the background of one of the images to use as a design element on the gallery.

This is definately not the first time this happened, so I asked around to a few people to see if anyone knew who this guy who runs TeenMaidens.NET was. No one did, and I'm assuming thats why AaronM posted the topic here to see if anyone else knew who this guy was, to help me try to find out who this was. Well no helpful responses (thanks again for the WHOIS tip though =p), so I just started firing off emails to the registered domain owner, the sponsor he was using, and the TGP where the gallery was listed, informing them that stolen content was being used.

Here's what I sent to the domain owner:

Got great responses from the sponsor and TGP owner (banned account and gallery removed, within 1 hour), but here's the response to the above email I got from the guy who's gallery it ended up being (the domain owner):

After going through my files from **content provider** (who I bought the involved model from in the past), I frankly cant find this "**model name**"-set. There most have been a mistake done from my part, or one of my employees (but I'm still responsible), and the material has been removed from my servers since I can't show a license when asked for one.

Sorry for the mess, and I will do my best to avoid it in the future.

I appreciate your quick response to this matter. I would however like to know who specifically was responsible for using this content in the first place. It is not as simple of a matter as just 'mistakenly' using a incorrect set of images. These images were downloaded from either my companies pay site, or an AVS site, both of which are for use by PAYING members only. Then they were cropped to remove the URL of our paysite (which is on EVERY pic we have liscence to and publish), then used the content (and even went so far as to use the model, 'cut out' from the back ground of the pic as a graphic on the gallery page).

If this is just an employee of yours, I am appauled that anyone would employ someone and direct them to simply go find content they liked, and use it, regardless of liscence. If however, this was a 'contract' employee, such as a gallery builder, and someone who is not directly employeed by you on a regular basis, then I would like to know who this is. Firstly I would like to be sure I myself don't use the services of someone who blatantly steals content, if I was to hire a contract worker like a gallery builder. Second, I think it fair to warn others in the industry about someone with such low ethical standards, so the same thing doesn't happen to anyone else if they were to hire this individual.

Please inform me as to the identity of the specific person who is responsible for the theft and misuse of my content as soon as possible

I've got emails in the past from APIC in various matters, and every time I had a license to show them. But now, this time, when there are no license to dash on the table it's scary as hell. How humiliating, yet it did happened. :O(

After beeing noticed by you I've checked **model name**, who I have 7 licenses (sets) to use,and your set is not one of them. When looking back I know this particulary gallery was designed by a Swedish guy who helped me in jan. - febr. He's not even in this business, a curious young guy here in Sweden. And I can assure you that he no longer are a part of the adult industry.
He likes Photoshop though.

I will personally ask him what the h*ll he was thinking of. I cant understand why, or even how it was possible to get ahold of those images. As soon as I can get ahold of him I will let you know, and hopefully he can tell me WHERE he got them from. And I will even tell him there are a lawsuite on ME for this. Wich he have to take responsibility for (not legaly, but man to man).

Ok so he is going to try to weasel out of any kind of responsibility, fine, not suprising judging by my experience in the past with content theives.

He's not as balsy as the last guy I busted though, the one who asked if he could just BUY my content, after I busted him for stealing it! I DO NOT think so genius!

Anyway, just sucks that there are so many ways for stealing little pricks to make money. Just sign up for a sponsor account, steal content, steal a gallery design even if you want, submit it to a few TGPs, and presto, no investment, instant cash flow.

In my experience, all of the sponsor programs and TGP owners I have contacted to inform that there was stolen content being used to promote their products or submitted to their pages, have been very professional and helpful with stopping these theives from making money off of stolen property, and I think they should be applauded for doing so. Seems like it's always the people who do things the 'right' or legal way, get the shaft in the end over those who just lie, cheat, and steal their way thru.
