I'm not paying for yet another sub, I already have Netflix, Amazon Prime and Spotify. And I watch/listen on an Nvidia Shield so no adblock. But the ads really are fucking annoying, it's like they've cranked them up 10 fold in the last year or so. My solution is simply to watch less Youtube.
Youtube you win. Take my money now !!

Hii
YouTube, you finally did it. After years of resisting and trying out every possible workaround, ad-blocking app, and alternative client, I’ve given in. The ads just kept getting more aggressive, longer, and harder to skip, making the overall experience frustrating instead of enjoyable. I honestly tried to hold out, but now I realize the convenience of uninterrupted watching is worth it. So here I am, admitting defeat—take my money now! At least I’ll get background play, downloads, and peace of mind without interruptions every few minutes.Comment
