I just read the thread. Seven Pages?amazing! Not taking sides, but who is the asshole to forward a private email? Not a friend nor someone I would like to do business with.

It happened to me once that a person I thought was a friend/business associate forward my email that was not to ?nice? just for his self interest to get in (cutting my company out of the deal). I never blamed the person who got the ?forward? email because I would of have been pissed too. Just like AaronM, he took it to the boards rather than contacting me personally. I did leave a phone message explaining myself but because of one email to a ?so called? friend cost me business not to mention the others.

I know that AaronM can fight is own fights, but to the rest be careful when writing emails you never know the ethics of the person you are responding to or where your email will show up.

As for the person who forwarded me this email....Kinda strange that Unseen wrote them in the first place considering that this person and Unseen do not now and never have gotten along. Unseen was simply emailing them in order to create problems for me. In this case, the bastard (Unseen) got what he deserved.

it looks like this orignal argument started from a listing of websites which you were stating "not 18 usc compliant" because they did not have a visible 18usc 2257 notice

by stating "not 18usc compliant" you are imlpying that the models are underage

likely it would piss off any site owner/content producer who was listed as such

unless that was your intention - being that you are competitors:winkwink:

wording would be better if you said "no 18usc notice" or something to that effect. Likely 99.99% of people are dealing with over 18 content anyway

for example - all the content I use is 18usc compliant, but none of the paysites had the 18usc records link, until about a year ago.

This does not mean the site was not compliant, just that the records were not visible by a link. And this had nothing to do with anything other than a CC processor request to place the link. Other CC processors did not require it, but might require netnanny or other such parental control links.

That would be like me listing all sites that did not have a netnanny link as '''sites which promote sex to children" instead of saying "no parental control links" wouldn't it?
