So I had a very vivid dream last night. I had created some kinda downloadable computer program that I could sell for about 9.99 and I wanted to sell it via amazon. Amazon agreed provided I also produced a 'Physical Version' that could actually be shipped to customers via delivery trucks. I begrudgingly agreed as it seemed a pointless way of doing it, so I got some people to knock up a physical version and deliberately put it up for sale for about 999.99 - (100X more expensive) To deliberately put people off, but also leave the stock with amazon, so they would continue to sell the download...
Less than a day later I got the report that the physical version had a side effect, in so far as it left large amounts of ash all over the place! However, I had also completely sold out of physical product, and amazon needed more. I asked why everyone was paying 100 X more for the version that leaves a mess everywhere? The answer was that blokes were buying it, and the 'ash' was proof to their wifes that they had done whatever it was the product did !
So, the crux of the matter is I cunt remember what the product was, but if you could help me come up with a product that leaves a lot of ash everywhere and is 100X more expensive than a download, I'll be a millionaire..
