i love that green tabasco sauce.// i put it on lots of food :-)
|
If you can get it "Kaitia Fire" from here in New Zealand is meant to be one of the hottest available....
Its evil....... Hell in a bottle |
I don't really like the taste of Tabasco sauce. It tastes "fake" when compared to the actual and real HOT sauce you can buy.
Tabasco sauce isn't really spicy, since most Americans can't handle spiciness. |
FIFTY BABY!

I like tabasco, but tapatio does take the cake

Coyote Crossing is a really nice mexican place here in Philly Burbs, They have a Habanero paste that you can put on your food.
They take a bunch of habanero's and ground them to a paste and served on a little plate, you get an amount about the size of a scoop of ice cream. The taste is absolutely the best, hands down. Nothing beats the flavor of a good habanero, and watching friends that talk alot of shit eat some paste on a chip going into agony is well worth the trek. Herb K |
One time my husband and I accidentally put the Dave's Insanity EXTRACT on our pizza instead of the regular hot sauce. I was literally in hell for a half an hour. Almost panicking because my mouth was on fire so bad. The only thing that helped was holding popsicles in my mouth.

Just make sure you wash your hands after handling the hot peppers.... *especially* if you're gonna fool around after dinner.
Habanero/jalapeno foreplay is not for everyone!!! |

I bought him the Dave's sauce, but he said it has no flavor - he said it's HOT, but that's all it is. :( I still have the bottle - no one else wants it, lol! I'll look for the Tapatio sauce for him - we have a lot of Mexican migrant workers so it's pretty easy to find Mexican foods up here in the hills. |
I prefer jamaican hot sauce made with capsicum peppers. Much hotter and more flavor. :)
|
I'm not a hot/spicy foods type of girl I guess...the only one who isn't it looks like. lol
|
Pico de Gallo hurts my tongue sometimes. I'm a wussy girl when it comes to these sauces.

Insanity Sauce though is just inedible, once barbecued some chicken with it - wasn't particularly popular. |

I love Tabasco, it's not so much hot as it has flavor -- if you eat something that is so hot, it basically deadens your taste buds temporarily and you don't taste the food... Anyone tried Tobasco's Spicy Soy sauce they make now? It ROCKS on sushi. |
Dave's is supposed to be used as a spicer upper, so if want taste, add a drop of daves to tobassco or your fav sauce.
Capsacium is actually good for your heart, and will lower your blood pressure. |

A buddy of mine ordered them, and after a few bites of one gave up, I had a few beers in me so I gave it a shot, ate one down... the hottest thing I've ever tried, and I love hot sauce / food. My buddy ended up puking it up at the table, I lasted about 10 minutes longer. Milk, bread, beer all don't help... I went to the store next door to the bar and picked up a pack of Juicy Fruit gum it kinda worked, after the gum I felt better in about 30 mins. But man was it nasty, especially if you puke it up and get it in your nose / sinuses damn. Basically its so hot etc, it makes your stomach feel rotten and you just want to puke. I like hot foods but you'd have to gradually increase your tollerence to spicy foods before you could eat these... Makes habanero's taste like sugar. |

Where is Cholula in this range of hot, hotter, hotterer?

Ever get pissed off at a girlfriend/wife?
Wanna easy way out of the relationship? Do this. Setup candles, prepare a nice meal, set the mood with correct lighting, music, etc.. Hide a habanero somewhere maybe under the sofa, go down on your girl after the dinner, pull out the pepper, and use it for a dildo. You will NEVER have to worry about that girl again. Thats right, I need :helpme :winkwink: |

In most MRE's (meals ready to eat) the standard issue packaged rations in the armed forces, the accessory pack has a bottle of tobasco. Most of the meals (at least ten years ago) werwe not very good and I used tobasco as a way to add flavor and have been hooked ever since. I use it in my marinades for chicken and steak and i refuse to tell anyone what my "spice" is in the marinade
Tobasco is the shit |
