I visited Moscow 10 or 12 years ago. On the expressways, where we use one car per lane, they used two cars per lane. I don't know if they still do that, but every car I saw had at least one good dent in it plus a dash cam.

but it also depends how blurry are the painted lines on the road, so sometimes there are no lanes at all.
