If the war was about weapons of mass destruction, why haven't we found them yet?

Maybe because we were fighting a war and not doing "inspections". We just started looking. WMD's will be found.

Still fighting? Surely a couple weeks is enough time to find any WMD's. Intelligence stated that Iraq had them, intelligence should know where they are.

I think its a shame of US nation.I have heard a tons of kidding about nukes and helping the world become safer etc - you've found nothing and Saddam is on the run - seems like you are not able to complete any mission (Bin Ladin is also on the run).
Reality is a little bit different from your great movies and US heroes ,don't you think?

No. Movies are exactly what happens in real life. The fuck are you talking about?

Ok, aside from that... the fuck are you talking about? Is Saddam still in control of Iraq? Uhh... speak up please, can't hear you. Oh, what's that? Saddam is no longer in control of Iraq? Holy fuck sticks Batman! Do you mean to say that the coalition was able to rid Iraq of Saddam? But I thought we couldn't complete any mission?

Hmm...

I think that problem is far more complicated - you can't change whole Iraq just removing Saddam and his regime - Arabies will never change their way of thinking and living. They simply can't live in democratic country.
But it is your war and also your shame - I only hope that my country won't be the next on Mr.Bush list just because we produce semtex for example

it wasn't so YOU could have low oil prices. Don't be ridiculous.

it was so that the status quo remains the status quo, and the people in charge of the oil economy remain in charge.

unless you think we suddenly wanted to 'liberate' a million ultra-muslim rug merchants from their oppressive dictator

Playa, you need to attend the course " Introduction 101 to make my friends profit". This course explains how Dick Cheney will make you rich ... if ( that is the catch...) you are one of his friends.

Here, a liter of gas is down 0.20 since the end of the war ( that comes to near 0.60 US a gallon ...), so either you guys are getting fucked by your nice Texan gov, or you didn't realize that in fact Canada has taken over Iraq under a covert operation directed by none other than Jean Chretien....

Worst, now you are going to have to deal with a muslim shiite state... What an improvment. BTW, those guys you cannot buy them off like a Saddam, Noriega, Iran Shah, Pinochet, Aristide and all other imperialist puppets...

Welcome to your nightmare... in fact you had a flash preview yesterday/today....

Put 800 people in California to search for hidden weapons and then hide some stuff ANYWHERE in the state. Let's see how long it takes to find them if ever. You guys on the left are amazing, if it doesn't happen in 10 minutes it's a failure. It could take years to search a country the size of Iraq.

I think if the war concerned oil they would have just seized the oil fields in 1992 when they COULD HAVE.

Everyone knows that the US has enough oil in its soil to support themselves for another 50 years, at which time a replacement will be in place. Thank the fucking environmentalists for the oil prices.

Funny thing is, Environmentalists get so much attention by promoting " problems " that do not even scientifically exist. I wish I could get that much exposure for my sites. Maybe I should take a sign to the next picket with my domain name on it.

" Fuck the environment, go visit my porn site and have some fun while the world dies! "

I agree with you 100% - The left just argues about presumed bullshit that is 90% of the time fictional & imagined - The other ten percent is stupid petty things that don`t even need attention.
Like affirmative action, they just make minorities feel like they are stupid and need special attention.

To clear up a couple of things. Iraq is the one that stated they had materials for WMD back in '91. They stated that they had X amount of this and X amount of that. By 1998 when the inspectors left Iraq much of their capability had been destroyed, but X amount of this and X amount of that had not been.

1441 demanded that Iraq prove they had no WMD materials and implicit in that demand was for Iraq to account for the remaining WMD materials that were known to exist when the inspectors pulled out in '98. Iraq stated that they had destroyed the remaining materials, but offered zero proof that they in fact had done this. They said that they destroyed the paper work when the destroyed the remainder of WMD materials. They failed to produce physical evidence of the destruction of the remainder of the WMD materials. They failed to produce the scientists and other personell that would have been involved in the destruction of the remaining WMD materials.

Based upon this failure of Iraq to offer any proof that the remaining WMD materials had been destroyed and whatever intelligence we had, or thought we had, it was assumed that the WMD materials still existed.

These WMD materials may, or may not exist, but if they do, because of the type of materials we are speaking about they can be easily hidden and may in fact take years of searching, unless someone in the know in Iraq comes forward.

So what are you saying? We can't change priorities? So I guess since FDR said we were going after the japanese back in 41, we need to still go after them, huh? I mean, they still have an emperor, don't they?

WMD in the form of rockets have not been found, BUT

We did find mobile labs, which I assure you, they were not making Kool-aid in.

Iraq is the size of texas. Finding those could take years, the Ba ath regime had 18 years to hide that shit.

Osama may be unfound, but he isn't sitting comfortably in Afghanistan either. All of Al-Qaeda is on the run. While they can strike out like they did yesterday, they certainly cant operate as freely as they could.

Glass is not always half empty. We still have work to do, but some progress has certainly been made, wouldn't you think?

Shit, I read this article a month or so ago in Newsweek I believe about how the government was buying up mass quantities of oil for the purpose of having reserves. The article claimed that the mass purchasing of oil was the main factor of the rise of US gas prices and that documents pertaining to the matter where held secret as the White House had been heavily involved in the whole ordeal. Some senate representatives where trying to get the documents opened with no luck.

Now if I could only find that article online.. grr

You guys seem to forget one thing, the people in the Middle East although backwards in some aspects of their culture are not complete morons.

The reason why WMD have not been found is because for months before the war started they have been moving them out of their borders. This helps to strengthen their case that the US attacked them without justification.

Also since the majority of terrorists do no reside in Iraq they now have even easier access to these arms then before.

GO USA with our dumb moves.

The only right thing that BUSH did was attack Afghanistan however he waited too long.

The proper thing to do here is start a coalition with the same countries that supported our war on IRAQ and attack all known terrorist groups and annihilate these fuckers. Why wait if we know they are EVIL?
