				what can hide my adblocker?

I'm getting fed up with sites telling me to disable my adblocker.

I tried grease monkey but that only worked for about a month and updates didn't help. So what can I use?

A DNS based ad blocker is a good alternative. You can use an OpenWRT router or Pi-hole for that, or Google for more. Probably a VPN that blocks ads. Ad placements will still be there, but the ads will not be visible. The site you visit will not be reporting ad-blocker related issues anymore.

Seriously though, there's a plugin that sits alongside your adblocker in the browser bar called 'Behind The Overlay'

https://chrome.google.com/webstore/d...baggebcednbbme Now when a site decides to tell you to disable your adblocker to view the content, the way it does it is to place an overlay on the screen, with that message as part of it. So you click the browser button, and the overlay / message disappear leaving you able to read the content that was being obscured. |

Or you can stop expecting all webmasters work for free and start to delete your adblocker

![]() I mean if a person makes a website and decide to make it only for people who disable the adblocker - it's their decision and u don't need to start to find sneaky ways to exploid that. In the end it's the same like u hack into a paysite to get the content for free.

![]() And yes sometimes content creators decide to delete or take their videos private - that happens, but not cause of any DMCA issues. I'm talking about content uploaded from original creators, so tell me how this is "stealing". It's promoting. And beside the concept I do - there is a lot of work in many sites and if the owner decide to keep it free, but want put ads, then the user has to accept it, or don't visit/use the website. These sneaky ways are the real stealing, cause you want exploid something. It's hard to accept it, but you using websites or watching content on yt for example and have your adblock on, you are nothing else like a person who want get in the cinema through the backdoor. It's ok if you want do it - but don't say it's right. ![]() How many hours in your life u enjoy content from your favourite youtube channel without even thinking about giving something for that? I mean how greedy must a person be that even a free way to pay it too much?
