My dream car used to be Ferraris, and to a certain extent still are. I am in god only knows how many Ferrari Facebook groups.
Of couse for a while I was into Mustangs; I had a 66 Fastback, a number of GTs. a Mach 1, and then the Cobra.
I was unemployed during the recession for a number of years, and decided to sell the Cobra and bought a small Jaguar. Fun car. Then I went to Hawaii, and rented a Jeep (a Jeep Jeep) and loved that.... Came home and bought a four wheel drive Jeep Grand Cherokee. My Jeep Grand Cherokee is everything - my daily driver, hauls bikes, long trips, occasional snow; It fucking goes anywhere.
I am pretty sure my next car will be a Jeep, although perhaps just the Cherokee and not the Grand Cherokee. Don't need something this big any more.
I should add.... It has 180k on it and it's only broken down once. It was a sensor problem, and was quickly fixed under warranty.

May be, though it's still possible to buy them from second hand owners. You can also import it from US but that means double the price when adding all the taxes etc.
for me the 65 pontiac 2+2 with modern engine and suspension
This is a cool thing for a collection, but be honest, would you like to drive it every day? It's like a gun... you might be a fan of Colt Army 1860, but would you carry it as a self-defense weapon? Even if it works pretty well when used as a hammer from one meter distance... I bet you won't use even a 1911 for that purpose. You will prefer Glock, Sig Sauer, Walter PPQ, Beretta or one of those new CZ's. They don't look cool and stylish, but they are practical, ergonomic and effective. The same rule applies to cars too. They may look great, but you won't feel comfortable inside in there after new Mercedes, Toyota or Tesla. Even some Nissan will be 10x times better.
