Bruce Lee has to be in it to be the best!

JCV is entertaining but when you look closely, all action scenes use camera effects: a set of several cameras following a strike, essentially you don't see anything. BL was a precursor, and they were using wide angles, long shots to capture the true prowess and grace.

I'd say the Way of the Dragon and Enter the Dragon are the best (the former being low budget and not meant to be shown outside of Asia originally).

JVC, Jackie Chan, Steven Seagal, Chuck Norris, so many great martial artist, I love the transporter, i love Jason Statham. Jet Li is also very good in films...

but then the old chinese kung fu movies like snake and crane, shaolin master and so many more are all great fun to watch, especially with the awful dubbing, but fantastic fight scenes.

The BEST martial arts films are NOT the Western/Hollywood stuff. JCVD is cool & nostalgic, but the real stuff is: ENTER THE DRAGON/ONG BAK/DRUNKEN MASTER or FEARLESS.

J/s: BEST JCVD movie: Bloodsport, Double Impact, Lionheart...I always gotta watch these when they're on TV.
