Making the first of anything costs a bunch. Copying anything costs an awful lot less.

The biz model of Onlyfans and ManyVids is the dream, in theory. Models upload content and promote it. While the owner focuses on the platform and payouts. I tried this as a personal project. I had access to a lot of big boob models from our member sites and affiliate program. But it always comes down to traffic and promotions.

It seems like Onlyfans and Manyvids have contacts in mainstream media. There are always stories and news articles being written about them. Not to mention celebrity endorsements.

If anyone here has that kind of access to promotions, hit me up. I already have the platform and models uploading content semi regularly. Though not nearly at the volume of Onlyfans and Manyvids. And our models are bbws with very, VERY large breasts mostly. Lily Dream Boobs is one of our "biggest stars" no pun intended. So I am not sure if mainstream would pick us up in the same way.

It is not such a hard site. Actually, hard things to code are more elaborate stuff, such as games, and linguistic analysis. But a website where users post things visible only to their subscribers? Sounds so much simple!

1 programmer with knowledge of PHP and javascript, alone, could do it himself in 2 weeks, perhaps. But, worse than that, you probably could find something similar to that already in the market!

Again, as others mentioned, you need more than the technology, you need the users. And you will have a harder HARDER time getting those. You probably could 0 in developing it, and better pay the models to join your website, just to be able to attract the new users, because that is the hardest part.

The same goes for plenty of websites, their value is not the technology, but the users and content. Online music is possible since the 2000`s, and you could program a spotify yourself in 2 weeks maybe, or even have a basic prototype in 1 hour, but you will not have the rights of the music, and even if you did, you will not have the users. That is the hardest part.

For amazing technological websites that give you money, try to create something NEW, not to copy the others. And if you will copy, then not just copy, but IMPROVE, what would your onlyfans site have that would make it better?

Partner with a programmer. He can build it and maintain it long term especially if he has an interest in the business.

I've underlined the most important part of your post. OF has hit the news on so many occasions that they must be paying someone to make sure they're getting the coverage. Their basic business model isn't new, you have one, MV, Adult Centro, even C4S, and more. The difference is their media exposure.

You can't wait for mainstream media to pick you up. You have to go to them with a package ready for publication or employ someone who can get you the exposure you need. Then the models will get you all the traffic you need.

Do OF have a PR company or someone working that end? If they were relying on media coming to them media would be going to others doing the same or similar.

They got and still get mainstream media coverage the other similar sites don't get. So someone in the organisation is able to make this difference. Do we see other similar sites doing the same? No. So surfers are not as aware of them.
