I guess the subject says it all. I'm looking at automated tools like Adult Video Blaster and wondering if this still works. I know a few years back it was the big thing, but I stopped after my accounts started getting banned by the big tubes. Is anybody still doing this, and if so, what are the rules to not get your account banned?
Does uploading still work in 2020?

You should've mentioned Adult Video Blaster in your title. What exactly are you uploading and to where? API's?

what is the issue with AVB? that is only a tool, how you use the tool depends on you there are people that use knives to save people (doctors) others use it to kill, it is not about the tool but how you use it.
AVB automates the process to upload and distribute your videos to the tubes with the most traffic so you can get all that type in visitors or if your channel is verified you will get more visitors via de link on your profile/videos.
There is no saturation in the process the real problem is that most people simply spam the tubes without a real understanding of the marketing involved, following that logic then the real state will be an awful market because you see houses everywhere.Comment

Ummmm... that's what I'm doing - research. Hence, the question. See how that works?
I'm not uploading anything to anywhere, nor am I tied to AVB. You really should read the question more carefully. There are lots of tools, and I was just mentioning that one because it seems to be fairly big. I'm just asking a general question about whether uploading is still a good strategy.Comment

Ah, did not catch the sig.
Man, that is crazy expensive. That thing better bring hookers and cocaine with it for those prices. No way I could even consider that tool with my current budget, especially when I have no idea whether uploading is even still a viable strategy.Comment

I don't see anything there except a link to submit a support ticket. I also don't see anything about a free trial on the main page. I'm not necessarily looking to license anything at this stage, just looking for information and advice from webmasters, although a tutorial on tube rules is perfect. Are any of those resources available without committing to a license?Comment

We use our own solution to market affiliate offers, CPA, Dating, etc.... so we walk the walk.
Quoting you: "That thing better brings hookers and cocaine with it for those prices" if those are your vices it will satisfy them for sure but I prefer to spend my money more wisely but to each their own.

I didn't say that or anything like it, and I'm not sure where you got that. It may well be worth $37/mo to me, but I'm just not willing to commit to anything yet. When I said the product was expensive, I was talking about TubeUploads that goes for $400/mo, and it doesn't matter what my time is worth because I don't have that to spend right now. That's a car payment for most people.Hi Dickjagger1, our tool is for people that take seriously their video marketing efforts, we are mostly for affiliates who want to automate their operation or that they already have an entire team of people editing, cutting and uploading videos if you think that an entire month of your work is NOT WORTH $37 usd then I would definitely go with @Sharon1974 solution.
My concern with not wanting to commit is that the videos will get deleted by the big sites as fast as I can upload them, and all of my accounts will get banned for spamming. That's what isn't worth my time if that's the way things work these days. It really has nothing to do with the tool or how well it works, it's about how the big tubes will view my activity and whether they will try to shut me down.Comment

I have a guy ( now for 5 years) who does it, but only manually....Never got banned from any of the tubes and we get a lot of converting traffic. My view? Better concentrate on 5 to 10 big ( or niche tubes), take the time to describe the clips well and you will be rewarded. Take the lazy route and upload to 1000 shitty tubes? The shitty tubes do NOT really give you anything and the big tubes will kill you.I guess the subject says it all. BTW the shitty tubes ( most being discussed here) steal... pardon me
scrape our content from the big ones anyway so do NOT waste your time with automation. Put in a good day's work instead.

How do you promote your sites in the uploads? I'm looking around some tubes and I see a lot of different things ranging from watermarks and intros to putting the site link in the video description or name. Also, do you upload full or partial scenes? It seems like there is a lot of partial with "come to the site to see the end" type of stuff.I have a guy ( now for 5 years) who does it, but only manually....Never got banned from any of the tubes and we get a lot of converting traffic. Most niche tubes we ONLY use watermarking and description of the clip ( short). On the main tubes we actually have a channel. So we have a watermark and a clickable banner right under the clip. Our rule is: If the viewer likes the clip he will go to his browser to fins our site, and if he does NOT, NO amount of links or tricks converts him anyway. So it is all about a good content after all.How do you promote your sites in the uploads? Here you will hear a lot of having, 100's of sites, 1000s of videos on each. Yes you can make money on a volume and many do, we are however not that. We have ONE site and it works for the last 15 years.
Also, we do NOT overload the system, so we do NOT look "spammy". The big 5 tubes we keep a single clip within the first 5 pages ( upload a clip about every three days). On the niche tubes we just try to keep a single clip on page 1 of the new videos. Niches are usually more targeted but also slower so we update those about 3 to 10 days. For any tube we give a banner in our "friends" [age.Comment

Send me a PM with the email where you want to get the trial license and tutorials.
Don't get accustomed to it, habits are hard to break he will be back trolling and bitching in no time, by the way I enjoyed your previous thread about tube monetization, there are few people around here creating, building things and making money, the rest are part of the "there is no money in porn gang" or the "tubes are the evil of the industry", that thread was a breath of fresh air, keep them comming.Comment

So this is why I didn't want to commit to buying a product without a trial. I got zero successful uploads with this product, so I reached out to support with details and got an e-mail saying to open a support ticket through the web site, so I did. No response, trial license is expired, and software doesn't work. Nice.
Does anybody in this industry actually support their products?Comment

It appears that I'm not receiving emails from your automated support system for some reason. The only emails I have received have been the ones sent by an actual person, but I appear to be getting other emails just fine. I tried to monitor the ticket, but I can't view the ticket without the tracking number. I never received the confirmation email with the tracking number, so I sent an email to support about that too and got no response. I tried again this morning and requested all my ticket numbers through the support system and didn't receive anything. So I can't see anything because I haven't been able to get the tracking number.Comment
