        It most probably means that Paxum (most likely) used the now defunkt Wirecard in Germany for their customer’s IBAN. Since Wirecard had to close, they are bringing in someone else.

        The IBAN number is there for you to be able to accept incoming transfers inte your Paxum account, to receive payment from someone who might not have Paxum themselves.
