Depends what language you are using... If you use ASP.NET simply enable Forms Auth in Web.Config and then you can set a custom Auth Ticket. You will need to write some logic to lookup the username/password with the System.Data.OleDBClient or the System.Data.SQLClient Class. You can easily do this with the DataReader Class. If the user/pass is valid, simply apply the auth ticket. I use SQL Stored Procedures to do this with SQL Server. Much faster than OleDB and static SQL Queries. |
