Kinda a lost art imho. Many Years ago, if you wanted to document something that you saw, you had to draw a picture of it. Most people would have been relatively proficient at it.
Then, in the last 100 years, we have had photography, so while not such a necessary skill, it has still been a hobby and art form for many.
These days, with a cell phone camera in everyone's pocket, the art of drawing is a luxury skillset, developed out of sheer love of doing it. I cunt draw much better than I could when I was 10 years old...
