The last roll of KODACHROME !

National Geographic did a decent documentary on this incredible film. If you got nothing better to do then give it a look and see why many of us old school guys aren't fans of digital photography.

Oh yes, I remember those days when every shot counts, and you can't delete anything if you fail in taking a photo.

            LOL

These days someone would have to be a total fucking moron to shoot porn on film.

Obviously, in the past we used to produce my higher quality porno.

But in addition to film we could also spend upto $500k producing it and did things like hire people that actually went to film school to shoot it..

Say what you want, but the ditigal era has created a new generation of super stars.

With photography you no longer need to go out and drop $10k to buy a complete camera rig. Now we have cell phones that shoot better photos than my expensive camera I had in high school ever could. Now kids with zero experience are discovering they have a knack for photography. Don't get me wrong, I am not knocking photographers or saying that anyone can do it... I'm just saying that more people are able find out they are good at it without having to make a huge investment.

You can say that about almost everything. Any tech device was an investment versus an impulse buy at one point.

I'm going to have to ask what you call a super star.

My reason is I come from a generation where women like Linda Lovelace, Claudine Beccarie and Seka were considered legends within their own time. These were seriously in demand celebrities and they did everything from red carpet movie openings to touring strip clubs like rock stars.

Plus when a pornographer had one of those girls on his arm she could open doors for him with a lot of very influential mainstream wealthy people.

By comparison what can a girl today hope to achieve?

Kadachrome was a fantastic slide film. As a collector of vintage slides I must say that this film was simply the best. The colors are still beautful today.
