I once had someone copy one of my best sites to a "T", then make some minor cosmetic changes and pass it off as his own. A german guy. He kept all the trades exactly the same, and when he tried to trade with a few of my other sites I caught him red-handed. I threatened him for a few weeks via email, even had the lawyer fire a few "official C&D" orders at him. The guy actually got so riled that he ended up threatening legal action against ME for harrassment, if you can believe it.


But he changed the site. He remains on my blacklist though :D


But it's a shitty feeling seeing your hard work being exploited by some fucker.

The only problem with your story is that after she caught you stealing that first site along with the custom banners, she told you stealing wasn't right, you apologized, said you didn't know any better and proceeded to steal a second site from her after that.

There's even rumor of a third after she caught you the second time, but I haven't bothered checking into it.

btw, the more you tell quiet and fletch to sue you because you stole something from someone else unrelated to either of them, the more of an idiot you sound like.

There was 3 sites in total. All were taken at the same time, and mixed in with the rest of my mess on server.

When she approached me about it i did apologize, and took the one in question down .... kind of hoping she would never find out about the others since i knew id have trouble finding them myself. Remember, she didnt approach me until a while after the fact, it isnt like i just uploaded them and she called me.

naturally a week or so later she found the others, and didnt want to hear "i uploaded them all at the same time ...", cant say i blame her.

Yes it was sneaky, and completely wrong ... but thats in the past. WAY in the past.

I have never tried denying it or hiding it ... EVER. I was always clean about my past regardless how it affects my future!
