She had the misfortune to breakthrough right around the time a much bigger talent than her came on the scene--Amy Winehouse--and she was totally eclipsed.

Very odd that there are no details. Could be a powerful Jimmy Savile or British royalty? Arabs? Is it true in England you can go to jail for saying an Arab raped you?

That last question, No, That is not true at all.
British Police are great at stopping that type of thing no matter the culture.
They even busted one of their own. Very difficult to go after another officer like that.
