Cabarete Beach, Dominican Republic. It's a fairly relaxed town, great food and nightlife, 30 minutes out from a bigger city, Puerto Plata. Over leveraged airbnb owners are going to go belly up real fast, fire sales are already happening now with both villas and condos.

If the Russian border will be opened... There is a pandemia of coronavirus in the world. I'm not really worried about the virus itself (I believe I've got it already in January), but almost all countries have closed their borders. So Russia did.

She says that here everybody gives you change. That's absolutely true. But I'll tell you more... If you are go to a supermarket and have less money than needed. You'll be told like "ok, pay the difference next time". They don't have your ID's etc. It's just the next time you will pay it because... I don't know. Because you forgot to pay it before. Or a supermarket has some super-duper discount card. Don't worry. When you are standing in a line, someone behind you will give you his card to save 10% or something like that.

This happens in small towns in America and in neighborhoods like New York City, too. Especially when people see you and know you are from around there. It's less like that with total strangers.
