    Model Recruitment in Los Angeles

    Been out of the game for a while, looking to jump back in.

    What are the best spots these for posting ads for mainstream and semi-nude models for LA? LAweekly? Model mayhem? Not interested in porn actresses.


    Concurrently, if anyone based in the LA area looking for work with experience in recruiting models in person, drop me a note. Prefer female recruiter that inspires confidence but professionalism is the first criteria.

                      I hired maybe five or six over the years, not many... one I remember was a pretty black girl named Noela Noel.

                      He's a creepy looking dude, but you had to admire his balls for getting girls to do "compliance" videos with him

                                      You're right--there were some real characters in the biz. Do you remember Santino Lee? Right around the time I was starting to shoot porn, my business partner discovered Santino lived on the floor below him in a building on Venice Beach. We became acquainted and Santino once hired me to shoot him in scene with a pretty black girl at my house--and showed up over two hours late for his own shoot. Perhaps not surprisingly, he failed out of the biz.

                                          He was a black guy wasn't he? The name rings a bell but I can't visual his face. As for people showing up late to their own shoots... Sean Micheals would do that. Hell he showed up late for everything and doing business with him was chaos.

                                          Johnny Thrust was always someone that I was convinced would flunk out of porn. One time I was in Lane's office to discuss him doing some shooting for me. Well Johnny was on the speaker phone booking girls.

                                          Johnny said to the agent that he needed 5 girls for a blow job video.

                                          The agent asked what kind of girls did he want

                                          Johnny replied "Girls with mouths."

                                              My long-time cameraman used to work for Jim Lane, and he has lots of Johnny Thrust stories. Always liked Johnny's gambit of occasionally forgetting to book male talent so Jim would ask him to step in and do the scene... seems like a reliable way to get laid and paid.

                                                      Extreme still owes tens, maybe hundreds or thousands, of people money. More than once I heard the story of their "accountant" hiding under his desk to avoid paying people.

                                                      Yes, I shot Lena--on June 3rd 2001--it was for ATK Hairy and she worked with Dick Nasty. As I remember Dick asked if she could pee on him during the sex scene, and she agreed... so we moved the scene to my bathroom, and with Dick lying in the bath, she peed on him--the highlight was when Dick sat up so the stream of piss hit him on his face and mouth. Good times.

                                                                  There some talent that just sticks in my head. I met Lena at Extreme's office and after her scene she was offered extra money to let someone piss on her. Her response was she would piss on herself.

                                                                  I booked her and then asked her who she wanted to work with. She wanted Rod Fontana and that had got to be one of the most fucking weird scenes I ever filmed. He drank her piss and she shoved her foot up his ass. It was surreal because her foot was literally in his ass.

                                                                  I lost money with Extreme but I met some of the fucking wildest and weirdest people from them.
