    More Weird Amazon Actions

    I just placed an order for a Prime item.

    Your guaranteed delivery date is:
    Saturday, March 21

    Your shipping speed:
    Two-Day Shipping

    Maybe it’s me ... but if I order on Sunday and expect two-day delivery, shouldn’t I receive it on Wednesday the 18th?

    If they are delaying delivery because of this virus and a lack of workers, wouldn’t they notify us?

    I did email to inquire about the delivery date and delay.

          I noticed this earlier also on a Prime item so I went to select a different one because I didn't want to wait that long. EVERY SINGLE OPTION for said item on Prime was expected Thursday-Friday (different brands, quantities, etc).

          Not sure what the specific cause is but I'd venture to guess it is related to CV.

              The item is not offered by other USA retailers. I’m not waiting for delivery from another country. It’s medical-related and I’m leery about ordering from others. Yet my regular delivery of printer ink was scheduled for March 18 and I just got an email stating that it would be here on time.

              If it’s Coronavirus related I understand but a notice would have been nice.

                      They apologized and gave me a five dollar credit. They claim that it’s out of stock. Another site carries it for more than twice the price plus shipping.

                                  Wow, at least you received some compensation for your inconvenience.

                                  Amazon can be good, my past experience was really the 1st bad transaction I have ever had. (there is a post LOL)

                                  Just wondering why some of the series I was watching on PrimeVideo for free, I am now being asked to pay for. And for a paid service, there is way too many up-sells on there. Still like Netflix better.
