Just Had An Oh Fuck Moment...

I have been pretty casual about this whole CV19 thing - Then about an hour ago I was reading through a few articles and it sort of hit me - This is pretty fucked up...

If I get it I am pretty sure I am fucked - Diabetic, smoker, weird blood disease that they can't work out and the list goes on - My only family are literally as far away as it is physically possible to be.....

Yep - Starting to feel very uncomfortable...

As a smoker of 40 years, I feel your concern. Good luck to you, do everything you possibly can to stay safe. I work at home so I do not go out much, food and smokes is about it these days. Trying to limit as much exposure to others as I can.

Yup. This is globalism. This is us, this is our world.

I had a similar "moment" earlier. Gave up smoking a few years back, but I have a number of minor health issues that suddenly now seem to have a knock-on effect. I'm more worried for my sister, she's been really ill and she's just starting to get better.

NZ doesn't have many cases so far. Something to think about for the future though, quit that smoking if you can... Or at least smoke less

Idea is keep up the immune system get extra zzzs when you can and sleep upright if you get it. Don't drown in own fluids get some antihistamines to wear off the waterboarding effect of it.

They're closing off my closest city (Cartagena) and I live outside it.

Good thing is with the shit planning of most Spaniards, I put in a massive supermarket order earlier in the week, everything arrived apart from mangoes, and I've got enough food/drink for a few months, even got a 3 for 2 offer on bog roll.

New Zealand is the first country to lock down all borders, anyone returning/coming from from overseas is now required to go in to 14 days quarantine.

Fucks up my travel plans but I'm glad NZ has done this, the only way they'll get through....

You're not far from mum - I saw that Murcia has closed down as well - John went to Lidl in Almoridi this morning at 9:20 and they pretty had nothing left - It opens at 8:30 - Nuts...

For some reason I thought you were up north somewhere.....

I was in Asturias, moved down here last year.

I was all ready for the shutdown, but I just realised I haven't got any saffron (first world problems) hehe.

I go 14 days without leaving my house quite often, so no problem. Just run round the perimeter (it's nearly a km) a few times every day with the dogs, shame it's not warmer, I'd get the pool cover off.
