What NOT To Panic About

I understand that the media, the governments of the world and medical professionals need to communicate the seriousness of the Coronavirus pandemic. But it amazes me WHAT people panic about!

The LAST 2 things I would ever panic about are:

water
toilet paper

But guess what everyone freaks out about? TP and water. LOL

Water: turn on your tap. The water is safe and fine.
Toilet paper: rinse your ass off in the bathtub/shower. It's cleaner than TP anyway (no Klingons Captain Kirk!).

I actually toured our city water plant, so I know exactly where our water comes from. It's pretty impressive really. We drink tap water that is also filtered through our fridge.

But I understand the shortages. Everyone is expecting to stay in their house for two - four weeks. Some people want fruit, some veggies, some soups, some canned goods. But everyone will need TP in the next week. Even worse... TP packages are huge and you notice them missing from the shelves. People see others buying TP and say "Oh, hey, good idea". So they buy some and... so on.

The thing that surprised me is medicine. My wife works for a doctor, and the doctor told us to stock up on over the counter medication - flu medication and tylenol. This stuff is eiher from China or made in China, and we won't be getting any for a long time. Same thing with vitamins.

But see what you did there? NO people do not "need" toilet paper.

Shit, I know it's a pain in the ass BUTT (see what I did there?) you can rinse your derrier off with water in the sink/shower/tub. Make the adjustment. You aren't leaving your house much anyway so walk around sans pants so it's easier to hop in the shower post-poop.

C'mon America we're better than this!!
