Is there a way to make Win 7 believe it's Win 10?

I come from a generation where we didn't throw something in the garbage simply because it's old.

    1) I've got an old laptop running Win 7 and it will NOT handle Win 10. Even barebones it chugs or stalls

    2) I got to thinking that it would still be a great computer for my music system in my backyard and possibly for my theater room. But everything is Bluetooth.

    3) So I purchased a Bluetooth 4.0 Nano USB Adapter. It works great on my Win 10 machines but no go on the old laptop

    4) Under Win 7 it sees the devices and connects but zero sound. Trouble shooting says it needs drivers but there are no drivers.

Is there anyway to make this work?
officially retired as of March 01 2018 but still fucking around and getting into shit.

or use this direct link - https://static.tp-link.com/2018/2018...400_Driver.zip

Here is the "Common problems" page from the FAQ if you get stuck - https://www.tp-link.com/us/support/faq/2316/

If you continue to use Windows 7 you'll leave you machine open to hackers. There are no more security updates. Try (Zorin, Xubuntu or Mint) Linux.
