Really pleased for them - It is a great movie - I don't think a foreign language film has won before has it? - Big day for South Korea - Kim Jong-un will be furious at all the attention they will get - He is bound to (try to) blow something up!....

IMO there were no really great films this year 1917 was good, Once upon a time in Hollywood Okay, The Irishman okay, etc. |

American movies have same story lines struggler with good heart in trouble. Everyone lives happily ever after or America saves the day. A foreign film won it was either that or give it to another remake. Even Once Apon a Time in Hollywood is a play on name of Once upon a time in China 1+2+3. Content isn't all about budget it is entertainment. I will guarantee now that Parasite will be remade in a few years in Hollywood.
