Nope it was just something that occurred to me while I was looking at a design company's site and reflecting on what I knew about the people running it.
The only thing I know about them is the persona they have on the boards and if I base my decisions on that, then they do not get my business.
So, it occurred to me that some people might occasionally need to be reminded that the way they present themselves does affect what potential customers might think about them businesswise, whether it is fair or not.

honestly sarettah has been one of the peeps in my life to always speak truth to me and has been an ally and true friend in both life and work. he's for real brilliant at what he does. I'm not just saying that cuz I want his wife. either way would be the first one to laugh if he was sloppy drunk posting, just not at his expense
agree with him 100% on how much biz gets lost because apparently here it's ok to be a dick, hate on people for no reason, run a service supporting sites ripping off affs..etc etc. it was I thought an insightful post. I do kinda like it that people show who they are here though so would prefer they not temper their awfulness to get biz
when it comes to business S does not fuck around. he can be one cranky mofo and love him more for that as it is real. one of the strongest, most talented people I've met and he's not even a girl

The person in question has never posted about me or in reply to me that I am aware of. The only things I know of them are what they have posted and they do not strike me as the type of person that I would do business with.
Btw, I quit drinking, for the most part, back in about 1993 when a friend of mine had to quit for legal reasons and I wanted to help support him in his efforts. I have an occasional beer or glass of wine with dinner but I mostly abstain. So, you are wrong again.
But keep trying with your insults, you might find something that will stick someday. Although you will never bother me, I grew up in New York and I was in the Navy. I dealt with bigger assholes then you every single day for most of my life.
Edited in: As far as soft? I am 6'4 and weigh in right at 215lbs or so. I haven't been in a real fight since I was about 13 because most people don't want to fuck with me.
As far as emotionally, is it soft to have empathy for those around me that don't have it as fgood as I do? If it is, then yeah, I'm a softie. Ask around, it won't be too awful hard to find someone I have helped out just because.
I try never to cheat on my wife with someone I do business with.
