Buying Bitcoin with USD, Lowest Fees?

Hello, I bought $100 worth of bitcoin on Changely and I got about $86 worth of bitcoin. Of the fees, 10 went to Simplex and 4 and some change went to Changely. I got ripped off with the fees. My fault for not paying better attention. What's a better way of buying bitcoins, coinbase?

When i need bitcoin i use "Bitcoin Solutions ATM" around my city.
I always feel i get screw with the transaction fee and the currency exchange rates .
( Buying USD bitcoin using CAD currency ) not a great feeling when you look at your wallet after a transaction

Changelly/Paxful etc usually quite higher fees, and same with ATM's.

Coinbase/Gemini/Bitstamp, I agree, maybe cheapest, but better yet, get your Chaturbate payouts in BTC

Also in general, if you want low fees, you have to transfer the money from a bank account to the exchange, and then use that money to buy coins.

Buying via credit cards / debit cards is almost always more expensive, as the exchange itself has to pay high fees for charging the cards.

You can use the exchange feature to buy BTC at market rate on coinbase pro, then push the coin to your coinbase wallet. Then trade that for usd and send it to your bank account with zero fee.

I'm building a Bitcoin Lightning node. The lowest fees possible. I think Gemini is about the most secure and inexpensive. Maybe Binance, I just signed with them again but haven't used them yet this time around. Coinbase is pricey, but secure for hodling. Trezor best for hardware wallet.

Cash app is the lowest as far as I have seen - but I don't pay too much attention. I just use the app.

                          Spend you some brain.
