Agree. I can see where some non-native English speakers may think it's 'Say' with an 's' on the end, but I've never heard anyone pronounce it that way.

Now, how about 'niche'? Do you pronounce it like 'rich' but with an 'n' or 'knee-sh' like 'hashish'?

And how about 'cache'? Is it 'cash' or 'cash-A' like 'attache'?

I have and it sounded really weird, a guy from NZ or AU... this is why i made the post. niche I used to say kneesh and then switched to 'rich'... I say 'cash'

I mainly use sez but in the UK a lot of people will use says - I often use says if I am making a point and thinking about what I am saying, and possibly want to sound a little pompous...

many say that says is present and said is past term, however, if I said this in the past, and Brian says or said this, then they are both and all past, so said would be correct in all of these terms, past and present. Because, after it is said, it is past.
