Whether we like it or not they pretty much own the online porn world. Pornhub alone gets 1 million to 1.5 million views a day FFS.

Been thinking about signing up as an affiliate with both of them. Even without a shit ton of back links I seem to be able to show up in SERP before them for certain keywords and searches.

Is it worth it? Any input is greatly appreciated.

pornhub and co are type-in domains. they have such a popularity that they don´t need that much traffic from search engines.

it is not hard to beat them in some keys but with search traffic alone you do not even get in the near of their numbers.
this is like you want to beat google with the key google in google.

If you want to rank for general terms, then yes but there is still traffic in small niches.

Thanks for the input but maybe I didn't make my question clear (15 beers will do that) or perhaps was misunderstood.

For instance WP-Script has said in their latest emails that in their upcoming update, they've basically given up on battling the big tube sites and their player not working properly for most of them. The focus for their player now is for your own content.

Sure we can make a niche tube site and embed for our niche but are Hub Traffic and Tube Corporate profitable.

They're both worth it. Hubtraffic is more profitable and has better content. They both have relatively crappy apis and support.

You have to send a lot of traffic to make real money. Embeds pay but not much, you'll have to send traffic to their actual site to make good money.

These programs are best for aggregators and cj tubes. With niche traffic you'll probably be better off promoting niche paysites.
