USB ports, can I get a hand, here....
I'm trying to setup my new digital camera with my computer.
Everytime I follow all the steps, and try to d/l the pix from my camera to the computer, my ICQ acts all funny (internet connection - my other USB port is for my cable modem) and it also says "The camera is not installed" Do I have to do something in windows to enable 2 ports two work simultaneously? |

Try adding a powered hub. The board may not be able to handle it.

Install a network card and get rid of the usb cable connection. That can fuck things up Really bad if you are running windows 98. If you are using windows xp most digital cameras don't even need any software or drivers installed. Windows will just pull the correct ones out of it's ass.
Hooking up a powered hub is also an excellent idea.
