    help with income taxes

Hi, I'm new to income tax.
Just wondering, since it is due on april 15th, what if you send it in like on the 20th, and what if I don't pay the taxes in whole???? Do they just charge me more.

    Any feedback would help.

Don't worry about it. My friend Alfonse Capone didn't pay his taxes for a long time and nothing ever happened to him.

        Depending where you are

You should always file your return on time even if you cannot pay the full amount due

you can usually amend the return, if you need to make corrections

take a night school course in small business income tax

If you are making a lot, then get an accountant, to advise you, even if you pay them $60 for a couple hours of advice

          To sum it up
Don't pay = paying big time later.
          Paying late = there's a $$ penalty

Don't pay = they will come after you. It may be 2 years, 3 years, 5 years. But when they find you they FINE you so you end up possibly paying 200% of what you owed or more!

If you pay late = they will fine you. If you don't include it when you file your taxes then they will send you a bill. If they owe YOU then they will take the money out of that before they send it.

Do the US tax office charge you interest on unpaid taxes like here in the UK ? Yes its always best to pay now cos you don't half get a fucking if you get caught later here in the UK.

Interest with penalties Susan. lol And then sometimes penalties on top of the penalties! Just depends on the time that goes by. They keep increasing the number of years they are allowed to actively take you to court too. Used to be 7 but I have heard its as many as 11 now. Hmm I should ask the accountant eh??

What very few people are aware of is that the 16th amendment, which gives the government the ability to take all our money, was never radified. If you don't believe me, do your research. There are facts to back this up, though big brother does not want us to know it. The IRS is an illegal institution and one can legally never have to pay taxes if you know what to do.
There is a video out called the F zone. It's not too easy to get a hold of, but we found it online. (I believe the government is trying to keep video rental stores from carrying it.) It was made by a man who made commercials for a living, and basically it tells the story of what happened when the IRS came down on him. His lawyer taught him about the 16th amendment and convinced him to make a film about the truth. The acting is really bad, but the point of the film is to educate. What the IRS can do to you is frightening and it sure opened my eyes.

First, file on time. Take the penalty and make payments.

Second, there does indeed seem to be some sort of loophole that can be found that means you can not pay taxes. But from what little I've read, I'm not sure it's worth it. But I admit, I haven't fully researched it.

If you want to try the second, that's cool but don't try to do it in arrears.

Try and file on time. I usually send mine in a day or two before the deadline, so it gets in when they are getting crushed with everyone elses. If need be just file an extension, but you will still have to pay.

If you really have alot of forms to fill out, you should get an accountant to do your taxes. Even if it costs you a couple of hundred bucks for a good one, it is worth it if you get audited.
