Control Panel

Any suggestions for a free or inexpensive control panel for a dedicated server (ensim, hsphere and plesk aside)? I really don't want to spend too much time at the command line to set up my domains, ftp accounts, and email aliases.

I have webmin currently installed but is extremely non-user friendly as robust as it is... I would prefer a simple product. It could be a simple server script without a browser interface.

cPanel. It's not super cheap, but it does appear to get the job done.

How on earth could webmin not be considered user friendly?

Get someone to write you a shell script if webmin is too complicated. Don't be so frugal.

I have been using Plesk for such a long time that other products just seem so dense... It is not webmin failing, it's mine. I have been reading through the webmin docs... it is dense, but very complete.

cpanel is real expensive compared to ensim or plesk.

cPanel/WHM is arguably the best, $1400 one time or $599 a year.
If you have a server elsewhere we can sell it to you for lets say $89/mo (otherwise it's $50/mo) and install it for free if you want. You can contact me.

CPanel is the most GUI-friendly and feature packed, however, it's expensive if you're just going to use it for single-use only.
