Yes that worries me too lol, i even saw a title in one newspapers "Joker going for oscar". And as you know usually oscar winning movies are crap :D -
Not overly pleased they used a Gary Glitter song, meaning he's getting a flat fee, plus royalties from Cinema views, DVD & Blu Ray sales + even more from sales of the Soundtrack...
Im sure with ALL the different music available in the entire world, they could have chosen something else to use in a film of this type

Would definitely recommend watching it, amazing acting by Joaquin Phoenix. Pretty sure Joker is going for Oscar, at least for the best actor award

Nah, Im not 'woke' when its basically 'in my face'... Glitter went down for child abuse images on his PC in 1999 - Got released, went straight to Vietnam and abused 2 little girls.
Arrested for that in 2005, he went to jail again in 2006 then upon release in n 2015, the he was found guilty for attempted rape, unlawful sexual intercourse with a girl under 13 and four counts of indecent assault... Same thing again... He's a prolific offender, not due to be released until 2021... When I have no doubt he will go straight out and do it again...
1st Time for pics on PC, I could have given him the benefit of the doubt, as PCs were still relatively new, and he took it in for repair, which is how they were found. I would have thought at the time there was at least a possibility he didn't know, or was being framed...
Then he comes out, and its not pictures, its real children in Vietnam, so fuck him, no doubt at all, lock him up and throw away the key...
But they didn't. They let him out and went straight out and was at it again...
Why use music thats gonna give him a single fucking penny?
