say you have 300 photos.. and you want to rename each one starting from 1.jpg to 300.jpg... Is there any tools that automatically does that out there?

I use ACDsee for content management. Always have. Super easy to rename photos in large batches. Also good for batch resizing, etc.

Yes, get a Windows OS

(File Explorer lets u do this with 1 click)

Adobe Bridge works quite well and you can add/edit the Metadata.

this, used it for 10 yrs now, so quick and simple to sort out. Other option for us is photoscape, a larger program, but so simple and the layout is easy on the eye

doing 1by1 on 300 files will take forever

the easiest way is to hit "control a "to select all the files. Then right click and choose rename...enter the name you want and press return and its done. takes about 10 seconds.
