      Each day Google releases new changes. This is complicated. Good luck figuring it out.

                      Bumpy on the day it rolled out, but overall link positions did not change much after things settled.

                                  People just 'Google' by instinct now. Certainly for a long time Google was terrible for adult searches and showed clearly irrelevant sites at the top.

                                      My Google traffic has taken a hit but normally after updates they do and then settle back a bit a few days later, so no panic yet.

                                                      Surprisingly I'm seeing rankings on (targeted) keywords I wasn't even previously listed/ranked for. I'll wait until things shake out a bit before breaking out the champagne but so far so good.

                                                      P.s. I'd share any insight into the "why" if I had a clue why.

                                                                                                              Most of the updates I've seen relate to paid search engine campaigns. For example Google My Business is starting to form a solid digital asset that will compete with Facebook ads, and even Wix and Weebly.
