Why you in the ER so much?

I honestly have never heard of someone getting an ambulance ride HOME.

Ambulance took me there so had to take me back.

Three times in three weeks but only one time in the past several years I think. Urgent Care is the only way to see a doctor for an emergency. Just saw the doctor for the follow up appointment and all is fine. Wednesday I see another doctor for removal of a device that was inserted last week. UC is taking people by level of emergency. My situation was painful but not urgent compared to gunshots victims and heart attacks.

That woman last night was funny yet scary. So quiet all day and then boom. I didn’t ask about her as I just wanted to leave.

The worst part was wanting water but being told no until a ct scan was done. Today I’m making up for it!

So... you have an ambulance that takes you to urgent care? Then takes you back home after? And your urgent care treats gunshot victims?

Yah, my life goals are to pretend that I was in the ER for nine hours. Funny how I created the ID bracelet I’m still wearing despite the fact that I have no rip proof plastic bands available. Even funnier is creating a scenario where a crazed female is yelling for her fookin kid.

What were to happen if there was an actual emergency that required this ambulance while they were giving you a taxi ride home?

There is more than one ambulance in this town. I couldn’t be transported by van and if you go by ambulance, you come back by ambulance. There’s no other way to get back home.

I needed to be monitored while going home. This wasn’t for a splinter or bruised knee. For normal issues with health, I go to a doctor.

There are several ambulance services around here. If you have to go to the ER in one city or Urgent Care in another, you call and explanation the medical situation. They then send the closest ambulance, I assume, to take you. They require a full history of the issue and meanwhile, another guy straps you in.

The ambulance service is out of Fall River as that’s the city next door. I can go to either of two hospitals there or another I chose as it’s more familiar to me.

The cost is paid for by my health insurance provider. I’ve got good coverage but I believe that a sprain or splinter is not considered an emergency. They did another CT scan and ultrasound and I said to check the films from last week to save money. They wouldn’t and I told them that’s why rates are so high. They are in business to make money.

They have walk-in clinics around here but due to past experience I refuse to consider it.

Urgent Care is another name for the ER. They treat all from splinters to gunshot wounds. You try to never go on the weekend because of drunk accidents and such. I had no choice.

If you’re not ambulatory, you don’t have much choice. I’m told I paid $1,600 to transport me via ambulance from a rehab hospital to the nursing home (10 miles or so) twelve years ago. It’s the liability of transporting a very sick person I guess. I had no health insurance at the time.

You live and learn.

If you think so, so be it. I told a funny story. You, on the other hand, sit back and hassle people to get your rocks off. You sit in your pathetic little box and look to argue and fight and cause problems.

If I were going to make up a story, I’d do better than a Jamaican woman yelling about her fookin’ kid.
