From my experience it really depends on your traffic, when I look for the top amount, there are many ad networks like admaven propeller and exoclick you can be paid 1-5$ CPM. the revenue are more than 500$ per day via Pop traffic. the true 50000$ is the top amount..Comment

i have seen 600 bucks for 1 K pops - the only problem was that nobody bought it :-)
anyway I think the question was for ad impressions and the answers where also clear as this can be anything between 0,01 CPM and 5 dollar CPM when you run a site with just one banner in a very specific niche.
i know a guy that is doing gambling sites and generates around 1000 - 1500 high interested visitors PER MONTH (what is very hard to get on the really valuable keys).
I wonder how his CPM would be if he would place a banner there - possibly 20 or 30 k.Open for handpicked publishers and advertisers:
