Womens studies?? Really? Did you even bother to do a touch of research on what job that might bring you.
How about go back and get a teaching certificate. Then debt solved. YOU CAN TEACH womens studies get paid more than the average teacher because of the masters and they have a debt forgiveness program for teachers.
They kind of are. I mean, just because you go to college and get a degree in women's studies doesn't necessarily mean you're going to get a job.
Nothing in life is guaranteed.
do you think its only people with womens studies degrees that can't find work?
science, journalism, sociology, teaching, nursing all used to be obtainable jobs that paid really well but baby boomers working into their 70's along with giant conglomerates buying up industries in record numbers and laying people off in record numbers the jobs simply aren't there anymore, and if they are? they pay much less than they used to. Automation and poor degree choices are only part of the problem.

But. better to bitch about it.
man that's brilliant. how many jobs like that specifically are available in the US at this moment? 4?
Look at your average boomer in america, they benefited massively from the USA's geopolitical position post-world war 2, then they benefited massively from the creation of the petrodollar system in the 70's, then they benefited massively from the tech boom in the 90's and 00's. you couldn't have picked a luckier time/place to be born than the united states in the 50's
Yet, ask any of them how they got where they got, they're gonna tell you "hard work" and that other countries and generations of people just need to "pull themselves up by their bootstraps" and "work harder" and "grow up"
it's just natural human behavior, we believe we are entitled to and deserve what we have and more, and very few of us have any empathy for those with less
