    Any dart players here ??

    I know not the most athletic of sports lol, but I joined the local pub darts team last week and played my first game in competition. We lost but the competitive nature of it made it enjoyable and hungry to improve and start whooping ass soon. It's all about practice at this stage. Gonna spend an hour or two each night and I should have my aim back in quick time.

    Considering we don't get the good weather here, and considering I spend a fair bit of time in the pub anyway, I guess it makes sense to have something to focus on and hopefully enjoy.

    Competition is definitely a good thing.

      I was running darts club 15 years ago. But there was no pro games.

          Good playing in the bar, about 10 years ago or so I was watching some tournaments. Cool stuff, crowd in a big hall with beers and scream 180!!!

                  Was only maybe 60 people or so in the pub and my arm had the shakes the first few mins. Takes a while to get used to.

                  Can only imagine the major tournaments with thousands of people (drunk people) shouting and singing through most of the match...
