Today it was 90 degrees, however, there isn't any humdity.

It can push 100 in the summer, and it gets cold in the winter but never ever snows here. I like it here. I like the no humidity, I like that it doesn't rain often, I like that it's not 122 like in Phoenix, and I love that winter is still winter but it never snows. Snow is half an hour up the hill if we really REALLY need to see it (which we don't).

I can’t imagine what no humidity feels like in the summer. Or winter without snow and ice. Waking up to ice on some windows on the inside glass.

When I planned my move to Maine I bought a house with a heated garage. I planned on getting a generator for power failures because waaaaaaaay up north the power companies have trouble getting the power back quickly.

I wear sunglasses year round but switched from prescription lenses to wear-over type. Mine flip up so I can go to stores and not have to take them off. You need sunglasses in the winter because the whiteout from snow creates a glare.
