Paxum Bank licensing
Paxum bank was licensed in July, 2017 with the Commonwealth of Dominica with Galeine Gordon as their business contact.
There are 13 offshore banks currently licensed by the commonwealth with 1 in liquidation, and 5 with their licenses revoked.
Paxum has a long history here of paying people and getting things done when there's a kink in the road so I'm assuming Paxum Bank wont be any different if it's run by the same group of people.Comment

I had another skim through the thread, and so far I can only see one person saying they've received their USD wire.
By this point I would expect there would be more people reporting receiving their funds.
Who reading this has received a USD wire (not any other currency) from Paxum within the past couple of weeks?
edit... I missed this thread, but it doesn't really contain any new information: https://gfy.com/fucking-around-and-p...ys-update.htmlComment

Thats because people who are vocal are the ones that dont receive their wires. That's normal. Paxum has been around for more then 10 years. Never screwed people out of money. Just don't use USD wires next time and problem solved. You don't see other people complaining about not gettin their non-usd wires.I had another skim through the thread, and so far I can only see one person saying they've received their USD wire.

Btw i just had my banker at a US bank tell me that i can't do any adult related wires outside the US because their correspondent bank refuses to process anything adult related. So I can't pay any of my models outside the USA unless i use Paxum and their local payment methods.Comment

glad ruth gave an update here and she gave one on xbiz.net too. sounds like their USD processor is giving them hell. Wonder why though, kinda odd for a big player like them unless there are regulatory or other issues out there. i emailed her so lets see what happens next.Email: [email protected]

This is this case for USD Canadian wires? I can't get any wire initiated, let alone receive to my US bank or Canadian. This sucks.
\Your recent USD wire withdrawal
We wanted to reach out to you about your latest Paxum wire withdrawal in USD currency. Unfortunately there has been a delay as USD wires are currently taking longer than anticipated to be processed. We recently changed to a new banking partner and all outgoing wires must go through due diligence before being processed and issued. This is the reason for the current delay. Wire withdrawals in currencies other then USD have not been affected.
The majority of pending wires have already been processed and we expect those remaining to finish processing over the course of the next few days.
In light of this situation Paxum will be refunding your wire fee for the last wire and we are also providing you with a Wire Withdrawal Coupon that will refund the full wire fee the next time you request a wire withdrawal from your Paxum account. To use the coupon simply enter the Coupon Code in the Coupon field in the Withdraw Funds >> By WIRE Transfer section of your Paxum
We understand how important it is for clients to be able to trust in the stability of our service, and when situations like this occur it can cause concern and dissatisfaction. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience you have experienced caused by these delays.
We will evaluate and revise the way we introduce new banking partners to Paxum so that in the future these types of delays do not happen.
We value and appreciate your use of our service and once again we apologize for the delay.
Best regards,
Paxum TeamComment

I see an error when trying to initiate wire to a bank account I have set to USD at Paxum (it would be better described as "a bank account that can receive USD and be converted to local currency" rather than "a USD account")
Unsure whether to do as Paxum instructs and convert to another currency, or wait it out until USD wires are reliable again.
I don't like workarounds, particularly when it comes to my income. It should just work.

Were you withdrawing in USD or CAD? It's my understanding that USD currency wires (regardless of destination) are disabled right now. So you need to convert to another currency before initiating the withdraw request.
Here's what Paxum says when I try to withdraw via wire (in USD) to an Australian bank account:
USD Wire Withdrawals to your location have been made temporarily unavailable as we cannot guarantee USD Wire delivery in a timely manner to your region. Please add a bank account in your local currency or in EUR to ensure prompt arrival to your bank account.Comment

When initiating wire as Canadian resident it automatically coverts to Can dollars, no need to do an exchange between ''your accounts''

Right, that makes sense.
I changed my bank account from AUD to USD a month or two ago, because that was another temporary workaround that Paxum required in order for wire withdrawals to work. Everything seems to be so ephemeral.Comment

i was trying another a wire request,
im seeing this:
"USD Wire Withdrawals to your location have been made temporarily unavailable as we cannot guarantee USD Wire delivery in a timely manner to your region. Please add a bank account in EUR to ensure prompt arrival to your bank account."
i hope it wont be like "PAXUM MASTERCARD" because they closed paxum card 1-2 years ago and it didnt come again, i mean i hope USD can available on paxum again.
Or we are already paying 1$ for every transactions (send&receive) and 50 bucks for withdraw, now they are wanting %2 for eur/usd, if you became EURO company, just tell us.Comment

Just checked, and mine is $USD20 short. I guess some intermediate bank decide to dip their grubby paws into our funds.
Also my bank charged me an additional fee of $AUD12 (about $USD9) which they didn't for the paydek wires.
So a wire from Paxum now costs me all up $USD79

Unfortunately the correspondent bank is only sending with SHA and they cannot change it, so sometimes your bank will charge additional fees for receiving the wire. We are working very hard to get this resolved with the bank and are hoping that it will be resolved shortly.Just checked, and mine is $USD20 short. As a Canadian you should be able to withdraw in either USA or CAD, depending on what currency you enter into your bank account listing inside Paxum.

My bank charges me wire fees on the 15th of the month. It is $22 per wire. So this $25 fee has to be from another bank.

Probably is. I've had fees imposed by intermediate banks with international wires and foreign (USD) cheques over the years. The discrepancy is usually some round amount like $25 or $50. So I'm guessing some bank in the SWIFT (or whatever) path has taken their fee for an employee spending a few moments on processing the transaction.Comment

Can you please clarify if payments received from others like an affiliate program within 180 days count as a transaction inside my Paxum account or do I have to make a withdrawl from my account every 180 days to avoid fee? Those are the only two types of transactions that occur in my account. We are using a new wire processor and that has resulted in some delays as they adjust to our volume. Most outgoing wires have been processed and are already on the way to the respective client bank accounts. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience.
I think there is some confusion here. There is no monthly maintenance fee in place, however if you do not perform any transactions inside your Paxum account within a 180 days period (6 months), AND ONLY if there is a remaining account balance, then the system will automatically charge $5 USD maintenance fee at that time, and once per month every subsequent month of zero transactions. We clearly state this on our FEES page, and it has been in place for well over a year.
FYI - I'll be in Montreal for Qwebec next month (August), so if you need to have an in-person conversation please feel free to hit me up to arrange a meeting.

I don't give a fuck what you state on your site, because you also state on your site that I will receive a card I can use. I have paid for a card and there is no card available for me. It's not about the 50 bucks I paid for a card or 5 bucks maintenance fee or extra wire costs I have to pay now for wires that take ages to arrive of they ever do.

it's about the fact that Paxum has become unusable for me and lost a few 100 bucks. but if I stop using paxum to get paid, you scumbags are gonna charge me. You should be paying people their maintenance fees and extra fees and lost money back in stead of charging more fees.

Tried AUD wire this time. It arrived in a more timely fashion (less than 2 business days), but again the amount received is less than what was withdrawn (after Paxum fees).
Paxum withdrawal fee: USD 25.00
Received payment was short by: AUD 25.00 (about USD 18.00)
$25 is a nice round figure, which suggests an intermediate partner has taken out their own fee.Comment
-
Obviously if I make a transaction to withdraw money I think it would count as a transaction and thus the "if you do not perform any transactions" would clearly not apply. Just wanted to know if I receive a deposit from someone else like an affiliate program if it would count as a transaction since although it is still account activity it is not made by me as Ruth's wording seems to suggest is required but I don't know how literally she meant that so was just looking for some clarity.Comment
