President Donald Trump announced Saturday over Twitter that he will delay for two weeks a plan that would deploy Immigration and Customs Enforcement officers to raid the homes of undocumented immigrants in several major U.S. cities.

The delay, Trump claimed, will allow time for Republicans and Democrats to reach a consensus on how to manage the number of people attempting to cross the southern border and request asylum.
