![]() i know this isn't exactly the right place but i figured someone might be able to help me out, heres the break down. so i come back home to find my computer off, there was a thunderstorm so i restart, try and connect, and it says no answer, it does this once in a while but usually works after a couple trys but after like 10 still nothing, i also notice the adsl light flashing, not sure if that means anything but does anyone know what might be wrong and how i could fix this? i can still connect with my 56k. thanks to anyone who responds, 56k sucks! lol

unplug everything even the modem from the wall jack for 2 mins ..

Go to you telco box outside and pull the card wait about 30 seconds then reinstall. Wait for the orange LED light to start a rapid blink and go green. If it does that you have sync and should then have the same steady green diode on your broadband modem.
If not call your broadband provider and ask a tech to do a remote box reset. One of the two procedures will usually bring it back to life.
