What Thommy does is selectively pick out his "proof" so that it makes the EU appear to be the saviour of Europe. Reality bites him in the ass.

The real stats on unemployment across Europe. https://www.statista.com/statistics/...-eu-countries/

The problem with this record is that the statistical definition of "unemployment" relies on a fiction that economists tell themselves about the nature of work. As the rate gets lower and lower, it tests that lie. Because — as anyone who has studied basic economics knows — the official definition of unemployment disguises the true rate. In reality, about 21.5% of all working-age people (defined as ages 16 to 64) are without jobs, or 8.83 million people, according to the Office for National Statistics.
Taking government figures as the truth is something governments do to con the easily fooled.

Wage growth across the EU Projected Real Wage Growth in Europe by Country for 2018 - FactsMaps

EU inflation proving that most workers in the EU aren't keeping up with inflation https://tradingeconomics.com/europea...inflation-rate

Some people in the UK are now getting so little in their wage packets the government has to take money from other tax payers to it top up. So subsidising businesses who can get away with paying shit. https://www.theguardian.com/sustaina...y-uk-companies

The number of people in the UK who rely on welfare is shocking. https://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/201...nt-state-high/

Unlike Thommy I don't give 2 or 3 images to prove my point. All the EU promises is more of the same with it slowly getting worse or leaving and risking it getting very bad. The truth is the UK needs less people so employers are forced to pay more or automate if they can which they will do anyway. Or close the business and let someone else take it. The immigration effect has been employers now get away with offering bad wages, both from inside and outside the EU.

The UK must trade with the rest of the world and stipulate countries buy as much as they sell or not sell anything. 50 years of weak trade deals have crippled their manufacturing base and now with automation the effect on jobs and incomes are catastrophic.

We in Czech are doing fine so please EU keep sending the jobs, companies and funds to bring us up to the falling lavel of other countries.
