Saying it was a 7.0 at the epicenter now..
I just couldnt believe how long it was.. One of the longet quakes Ive ever felt.. I was in the bay area for the big one 10 years ago, and this one was much longer in duration.. But the bay area one was more powerful..
It lasted about a minute long.

How close is Portland to the epicenter? I thgouth it was way up in Washington. I don't know my geography that great I guess.

The epicenter was south of Seattle and North of Portland.
It was closer to Seattle, but they didnt get the worse of it.. It was 25 miles under us, and inthe mountain range we all share here in the northwest, the cascades.
