As a kid, I almost got bit by a rattle snake nearly this exact way. Went to my grandparents house it was nearly dark.

They had one of those lighted doorbells and as I reached up to ring it I saw at the last moment something start moving.

It was a small baby pygmy rattlesnake curled around the doorbell. Talk about a fucked up place for a snake to be.
In November, you can vote for America's next president or its first dictator.

      Holy fuck! You lucked out.

In grade school we used to play in the field catching Garter snakes next to the school before playing soccer in the morning. Nothing poisonous or dangerous Batman when those things gets scared the shit all over you and it stinks.

I wonder what kind of snake it was that bit that guy in the head in the video?

Holy Crap: Snake Leaps From Porch Light, Bites Man In The Face As He Opens Door

The simple act of opening a door turned into a terrifying moment for a man in Oklahoma when a snake leaped from a porch light and bit him in the face. And the entire scene was caught on a doorbell camera video.

Footage showed Jerel Heywood leave his car outside the house of his friend, Rodney Copeland, in Lawton, Oklahoma, on Sunday. When Heywood opened the door, the snake attacked.

Heywood could be heard calling out for his friend to take him to the hospital, where the medical staff later determined that the snake was not poisonous.

“No stitches, thankfully, but they cleaned me up pretty good,” Heywood told CNN. “I am on antibiotics.”

The snake, however, was killed on the spot by a neighbor with a hammer, the network said.
