Another GOP senator stepping down won't run in 2020

Another senate seat opens up for Democrats in Wyoming!

Wyoming GOP Senator Mike Enzi announces he is stepping down in 2020

Logtime GOP Senator Mike Enzi (WY) said he will not run for re-election in 2020.

Enzi, who has held office for 22 years, currently serves as chairman of the Senate Budget Committee.

“I have much to get done in the next year and a half,” he said in a statement. “I want to focus on budget reform. I don’t want to be burdened by the distractions of another campaign. After this year, I’ll find other ways to serve.”

Enzi was first elected to his Senate seat in 1996.

I seriously doubt Democrats would pick up Wyoming. That's about as rural of a state as you can get..

Even in 2008 at it's highest democrat vote the percentage that voted for Obama was only 32.54%..

On flip side the same election 164,958 people voted for McCain...

The entire state has only 563,767 people... My home town in FL has more people but my home town doesn't get 3 electoral vote to call it's own nor 2 senators...

My state of 21 million people has the same number of Senators as Wyoming..

I'm starting to think it's not just the EC that needs changed..It's ridiculous that a state with 500k people has the same power in the Senate as a state with 21 million people or like Cali.. with it's 39 million people..
In November, you can vote for America's next president or its first dictator.
