Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein resigns, effective May 11

Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein submitted his resignation letter to President Trump on Monday, ending a tumultuous two years in which he tried to steady a rocky Justice Department and its relationship with the White House.

"I am grateful to you for the opportunity to serve; for the courtesy and humor you often display in our personal conversations; and for the goals you set in your inaugural address: patriotism, unity, safety, education and prosperity,” Rosenstein wrote in the letter, which was reviewed by The Wall Street Journal.

Rosenstein’s successor, Jeffrey Rosen, currently the No. 2 official at the Transportation Department, is awaiting a likely confirmation by the Senate. Rosenstein made no mention of the special counsel in his resignation letter. He instead wrote of the Justice Department’s responsibility to avoid partisanship.

Fucking musical chairs at the White House. Seems about right being as it seems the White House is now run by 4rd graders.

A lot of shit came out about that fuck the last few days. I was always on the fence about him. I'll hold my judgment for now.

I have a hunch the leaks about him was a assassination of him in the press by Trump. Its without a doubt now being Trump's do boy Barr fired him..

Every high profile person from Trump's WH is fired the same way. 1st there is really bad leaks about the person on Thurs or Fri then they fire them over a weekend.

Then in the end we find out the char assasination was lies leaked to the press by some anonymous sources.


I'd hold judgment on him for the moment. My guess is the WH is trying to discredit him because he is now a witness against Trump.

Might be wrong we will have to see how it plays out but I bet its something along this line..

This is exactly how Trump has fired every single one of his high profile staff that fell out of flavor..
