                      It was a little convenient, but I look at it like this, she has spent much of this show learning how to kill, sneak, and generally be an assassin. She could have made her way through the dark to get to him. Still, I expected more death and overall I did think the episode was a bit of a letdown after all the hype.

                      Hopefully the last three episodes will send it off in style.

                          She's been training to be an unseen assassin for the last few years. Where have you been?

                          Did you notice the white walker's hair blow from her breeze as she ran by him? Before they even knew she was there it was over.



                          the great thing about her killing the Night king is that she has no narrative connection to him, so it was unexpected.

                              They should have had one big War with the Night King vs everyone... It could have been done so much better..

                                  Given the amount of build up and tension,

                                  i knew there was no way to satisfy everyone.. I'm just glad they didn't string the ending on another episode.

                                  Personally, I thought it was a fantastic knight king death.

                                      I thought it was good as well.

                                      And Aria making the kill was perfect, for all of the reasons mentioned above. She's spent the majority of her life training to be a ninja assassin.

                                              That was quite a bit of a let down.. All l that build up over several seasons to have it end like that... Kinda ghey... I dunno how it should have ended but that seemed a bit cheezy for as long as they built up the comming fight to have it end in 1 single episode with no cliff hanger even..

                                                  I thought they did an amazing job.. For a second there I suspended all disbelief and thought the white walkers were just gonna run through everyone and take a left turn

                                                      I don't think I've ever heard of anyone, ever, complaining that a show did NOT have a cliffhanger.

                                                      Are you just looking for something to complain about? If that's the "worst" thing about the episode, fuck, it must have been pretty damn good.

                                                          One thing to remember is that this isn't the goal of the show. The goal of the show is to find out who will rule the seven kingdoms. This fight with the dead has been an outside added danger. There was no cliffhanger, but there is still plenty of intrigue and questions to be answered.

                                                                  So the Winter came....and went. Super fast and super dumb. Was that what the last 7 seasons was leading up too? Game of Thrones has always been about story telling that went against the grain of the typical fantasy story. That's why we all loved it so much, we never knew what was going to happen next. So why then did the TV show creators go for the most cliche, boring, generic and predictable ending you could possibly have? Why are they so uninspired?

                                                                      Great - they are bringing out Game Of Thrones Season 8 in 4K UHD. I'll buy it just for Episode 3. Hope the last 3 episodes are good - we will soon find out GOT fans.

                                                                          Dani tried dragon fire. Didn't work. Jon tried to get close to him. Didn't work.


                                                                          It makes sense that the night King's death would come from an unexpected killer. Actually, it was foreshadowed by something Melisandre said a few seasons ago. Everything that happened to Arya (after Ned Starks' death) was leading her to be the one sly enough to get a shot at the Night King.

                                                                              Arya's thing was being SNEAKY!!!! Hasn't almost every one of her kills been achieved by being stealthy and coming at the victim unexpectedly? Walder Frey. The whorehouse guy. The waif. She even outsmarted Littlefinger.

                                                                              Rush to the ending or make it easy and quick? The showrunners have known she would kill the Night King for 3 years and her character arc reflects it.

                                                                              No one could beat the Night King in a head on fight.
