Killed 9 in Tennessee, mostly near the Ft.Campbell area.

Our power went out about 3 this morning, just got it back, and I had fallen asleep when thunder woke me at about 6:30. The house shook, lightening everywhere, thunder wasn't delaying at all behind its lightening, the cats were terrified...

Husband looks at me, and I look at him, and he started to say something about Mother Nature's early wake-up calls when our phone rang and about a second later, we hear the sirens going off. We get up, snatch up the cats, shove them in their kennel, move dog's kennel into the hall, tug on some clothes and haul ass to the college.

Everything there is dark, and no sooner do we getin the basement of the University Center than the sirens go off again. Tornado touched down less than a mile from campus. No one hurt here, thankfully.

It's been a long day.
